Driver
Looking to work with us as a Driver?
Drivers are at the heart of TAS Cars. Providing transport to and from schools, our Drivers offer the safest and most reliable services available to those who do not have access to other forms of transport. The ideal candidate will have a positive mental attitude, providing a safe, stress-free environment for all those being transported. The role advertised here is for a sub-contractor Driver, available to work with TAS Cars during contracts set out by local councils and authorities. Drivers will have the following responsibilities:
- Providing transport to and from school and home.
- Provide transport for passengers of varying disabilities.
- Perform Risk Assessments for journeys.
- Perform checks on vehicles to ensure they are safe for transport.
- Keep vehicles clean for passengers.
- Upholding a positive image of TAS Cars by maintaining good customer relations with parents, school staff and the council.
- Follow rules and policies set out by TAS Cars and local authorities.
Requirements
The following is a set of requirements are required for our Drivers:
- Full UK drivers licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
- At least 1 years driving experience and with a clean record.
- Be able to receive an Enhanced DBS check. This must be meet the satisfaction of the licensing authority and pass standards set by TAS Cars. This is due to the position being placed in a role of responsibility, working with young children and vulnerable adults.
- Registered Taxi Badge holder.

Other Requirements
The following is a set of other requirements:
- Ability to drive D and D1 class vehicles
